The service was pretty quick and the restaurant was very nicely decorated. The parking lot is kind of small so we parked in the neighborhood next to it. Everything was really good and I would definitely come back here Drunken noodles: 4/5, prob could've gone higher than medium spice level Nam khao: 4/5, this was my first time trying this and I really liked it. We ended up ordering one of the sauces to eat with this but it was also good alone Green curry: 4/5, a bit sweeter than I like my green curry but not bad

Still amazing. Here's some food we ordered yesterday: nam khao, lao traditional dish, sang koo yat sai, Thai coffee, sugarcane drink, drunken noodles, fried chicken.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! I'm Hmong so the food is relatively similar to what we eat! It tasted like home, and the service was excellent. A kind Filipino lady helped us with everything and was attentive and extremely friendly which made our night! She was talking and helping so many tables at once since it was busy for dinner time! Overall, I'll be returning here! The food is just excellent, and we just love the fresh sugar cane juice too!

One of my favorite loatian restaurants in San Diego! Their food is absolutely amazing and truly unique. I would highly recommend getting their fish platter where you eat everything with your fingers. The fish is fried to perfection where it's crispy on the outside and tender juicy on the inside. There's so much garnish to go with it, you will be stuffed by the time you are done.

Wow! All their dishes were flavorful. They use actual Thai peppers, so be careful of those spice levels. But everything was delicious. And well portioned. My mouth waters just thinking about their food. Yum!

Really good Laos/Thai restaurant. Huge menu with so many options that aren't available everywhere. Their jerky is so good. They have make your own wraps and sampler plates and the staples. You'll find something there to get that. Worth a visit for those that want to try some food that's less common

Came here on a weekday for lunch around 1130. At this time, it was not busy at all, just a couple other patrons. A casual feel, simple decor, gold colored plating, and lots of tables. We ordered our usuals, pad see ew and panang curry... the food was delicious. The flavors were rich and full. We didn't add too much spice to the dishes themselves, but the variety of chilis and oil we had on the side went perfectly and helped to add just enough spice and flavor. Hard to describe, but definitely one of the best Thai spots we've had in San Diego. Prices are fair, good portions, and a nice lunch menu, friendly service...

Pretty casual restaurant with some GREAT food. They have a happy hour with some decent options (soup and some sides), but the stars of the show was definitely their pad see ew, pork belly, and chicken wings (Tom yum flavored). The noodles were bouncy, flavorful, and came in a large portion, would definitely recommend. The chicken wings and pork belly were extremely crispy and seasoned well, it's hard to explain how they taste exactly, but it's yummy. 10/10 would recommend.

So Saap is a really good place to check out for Thai/Laos food. Came here for dinner with a group of friends and we were all pleased with our meals! We were seated right away and the staff here is very friendly. I ordered the drunken noodle and my boyfriend got the Laos famous plate. The food came out pretty quickly and the portion sizes are great! I actually really liked my noodles and wanted to save the rest for leftovers. The flavors and textures were all right. My boyfriend really enjoyed his plate and finished it all up! It definitely lets you try a variety of items. I'd recommend you trying this place out!
